Please accept my sincere condolences over the death of Yuriy Volodymyrovych Pokalchuk, Head of the Public Council under the National Council of Ukraine for Television and Radio Broadcasting.
He was a leading figure of Ukrainian literature, a prominent writer and public figure, who remained a creative and socially significant personality till the last moment of his life. The life and creative work of Yuriy Volodymyrovych serve as an example of immense devotion to the Motherland, self-sacrificing service to the Ukrainian people.
Our nation will never forget its faithful son. May he rest in peace.
